    Why We Like It

    • By leveraging its 3-D printing capabilities, Cobra has created an iron with game-improvement shape and forgiveness with a forged-iron feel.
    • Like other Cobra 3-D printed irons, an internal lattice is used to save weight. In this instance, 115 grams of tungsten weighting is repositioned low in the perimeter to increase launch and stability.
    • The lattice also maintains the rigidity and stiffness required for consistent sound and feel.
    • The grooves are CNC milled and have the same design as the company’s 50- through 54-degree specialty wedges to produce maximum spin and trajectory control.
    • The irons come stock with the KBS Tour Lite shaft, which is designed to produce a mid-high ball flight.
    • Top 5 in Performance, high-handicaps
    • SPECS: 7-iron: 29 degrees; PW: 43 degrees

    COMMENT SUMMARY

Hot List panelists observed a soft, cushiony center feel with crisp, sometimes loud impact; a thick topline and compact head inspire confidence. Ball speeds ranked among the hottest, delivering penetrating, workable trajectories and strong distance—especially from mid/long irons—while wedges produced spin and hold. Directional dispersion was tight and the club was easy to shape. One caveat: mis-hits can give harsh feedback.

    COMMENT SUMMARY

Hot List panelists observed a soft, cushiony face with clear feedback, a compact head and medium topline, and a distinctive honeycomb/3D-print back. Center strikes produced very hot ball speeds, consistent trajectory and distance, easy shot-shaping both ways, tight dispersion, and wedge spin/7‑iron descent that held greens. It looks and plays like a players club despite surprising maneuverability. One drawback: off-center strikes can lose  distance and tend to fade right, so forgiveness is limited.

    COMMENT SUMMARY

Hot List testers noted a thick topline and massive sweet spot that inspire confidence; long irons felt outstanding with a hot, penetrating trajectory and a crisp "crack" at impact. Shots jumped off the face, felt cushioned yet dynamic, and mis-hits—often on the toe—still carried near full distance and stayed remarkably straight. The club encouraged a full finish, delivered elite forgiveness and extra carry at lower swing speeds. One caveat: three-quarter wedge shots could fly higher and be harder to control.
