I'm not a fan of the matte finish, but the club performed well. I was able to work the ball. This is one of their best right here.
The small profile makes you wonder where the power is coming from, but it delivers like a blitzing linebacker, and it took nothing to do it.
I love looking down at the classic shape and seeing the white grooves on the black face. The visual effect makes the hitting area look much bigger. Nice flat sole—heel and toe strikes react well. If you catch one on the toe, it doesn't overspin to the left, or overspin to the right when hit on the heel. Does a great job of counterbalancing your errors.
Nice square, compact head. I don't fear the left miss with this. Good medium launch, too.
I really like the matte finish. No glare when looking down at the club. Pretty long from heel to toe. Not what I'm used to. Flight wise, it gets good height, even higher than I'd expect, with consistent distance. I see a little bit more dispersion from left to right, but when flushed, it sounds like a muted whipping sound.
A quiet snap at impact that you like from a hybrid. It really jumps off the face. Great distance. Not super workable, but there are several hosel adjustment options. The feel is very soft to match the look.
The best hybrid I hit. Explodes off the face. Great distance. I really felt the connection to the face. I hit the ball slightly higher than other hybrids, which I benefitted from, and the ball tracked off the face no matter where I hit it.
This is a hammer: line drive, line drive, line drive. I wasn't observing a lot of change in distance or trajectory. With that in mind, I feel like you could use it effectively off the tee and the fairway. Understated in terms of how it frames the ball. Stable through impact. The settings come in handy to pinpoint trajectory.
I love the white scoring lines. Makes it easy to see the loft on the face. Two big things for me: The ball tended to dive out of the sky with little spin, which could be great for someone who spins it too much, and then the left bias on all my shots.
Tremendous ball speed, and I was able to vary the launch, like an iron. I can shape it more and pinch it into the turf. A hybrid for better players.
Exceptional distance and consistent sound at impact, but the small head doesn't leave much room to miss.
This one had about 10 extra yards of performance on all the shots. Straightforward ball flight with a good landing angle. Comforting sound at impact.
I found this one to be adaptable like a chameleon. What really helped me was the adjustability of the head weights. Placing more weight in the toe, which not many hybrids allow, changed the way I was hitting it. It brought much more stability to my contact. I went from toe strikes to center hits more often.
Good power on center strikes, but off-center hits are less forgiving than I'd like. The club is well-balanced and consistent to hit, and the weight feels good, but overall I feel like it doesn't quite have the refinement that it needs.
I like the head shape and blend of carbon and steel. Sets up nice behind the ball. Very stable through the hit. Felt like all the mass of the club put energy into the ball. Mis-hits were punished distance-wise, and I had to work a little to get the ball in the air.
Small head, but it was completely responsive to the shot I wanted to hit. I could change trajectories, too.
A very compact head with a really hot face. It feels weighted very low, which creates a lower than typical yet penetrating flight.
The high contrast of the grooves together with the alignment aid make it clear how to address the ball and gave me confidence I could put a good strike on it. Even my mis-hits were still in the ballpark.
This one was extremely easy to hit. The smaller head shape has more of an iron feel to it than a wood feel, but I could still find the center of the face consistently, and the ball went straight. This is definitely a club I'd add to my bag.
The club's matte-black finish contrasts nicely with the white grooves. It helped me square the club to the ball, which led to consistent results. I found it quite forgiving, too, with superior distance. My ball flight was high and dropped out of the sky in a way that would hold a green.
The smaller head leads to an economical swing and pleasing snap at impact. Goes far, lands soft, and keeps on rolling.
A smaller-headed hybrid but very forgiving. Heel and toe strikes still travel straight through the correct flight window. Tons of adjustments on the hosel, too, which is unique for a hybrid.
Love the simplicity of the crown, the color and the exposed carbon that's subtly visible. I like the head shape, too. I feel like I can really go after it, and nothing too bad will happen. Trying to work the ball was tough, though. I didn't find it as responsive as I would have hoped. The default being fairly straight, I can live with that.
This club is more forgiving than it looks. It has a smallish head, but I could not miss. My shots tended to fly high, straight and nothing more than 10 yards left or right, regardless of whether it's from the tee or off the turf.
The club is intimidating standing over it because of how small it is, but it performs larger and with more forgiveness than it looks. The ball really carried, just electric off of the face. I also think the smaller head allowed it to get through the ground easier, and I saw that explosiveness translate into the ball's fight.
Basic-looking club with a matte-black-carbon-like finish. The alignment is just a logo. Nothing crazy. Forgiving, though. Mis-hits might go roughly seven to 10 yards shorter, but pretty much in the direction you're aiming.
A crisp crack at impact, but it didn't translate into overly impressive performance. Center hits had a high trajectory, but not overly high, and not too much spin. Just not the wow factor I was hoping for after looking at it at address.
The compact head might be intimidating at first, but the deeper face kind of offsets that. It has a nice piercing mid-trajectory, very consistent. For a smaller head, it's more forgiving than it looks, and it has a powerful feel.
A lot of the face is visible at address, and the white lines on black are a bit distracting. I struggled with consistency. The best strikes I had were lacking in trajectory and power. Even though it did feel good off the face, the results just weren't there for me.
It's a very comfortable, forgiving yet powerful club. Consistent, too. I was able to see similar ball flights even on less-than-perfect swings.
Noticeably louder than other hybrids but not a deterrent to me using it. The trajectory was in the mid range, so I think it would have good stopping power into greens based on the spin data I was getting. But definitely something I could use off the tee and feel comfortable that the wind wouldn't affect it too much.
