‘Not right now!’: Watch Ludvig Aberg make a hole-in-one while warming up for Tuesday’s TGL match
It’s said that practice makes perfect, but what happens when the practice is already perfect? Ludvig Aberg will be asking himself that question after he made an ace on Tuesday afternoon while warming up for The Bay’s Tuesday match against New York Golf Club. Take it away, you handsome devil.
It’s not often anyone is that nonplussed by a hole-in-one. After Aberg reeled the ball into the bottom the cup, the Swede tilted his head back toward the sky and exclaimed “not right now!” Tough break, kid. It must REALLY suck being you.
Sarcasm aside, at least the ace helped Aberg settle on his club selection for the evening. “Gap wedge it is,” he said to golf journalist Emma Carpenter, who happened to be filming and caught the whole thing on video.
As it stands, The Bay are one of two teams—alongside New York—who sit outside the playoff picture with just one match to play in the regular season. A loss tonight would effectively end their season, so they’ll surely be hoping for a repeat performance from Aberg under the lights on Tuesday.
